2. How long does the process typically take?
The entire process takes 2-3 weeks, from the initial HR discussion to the rolling out of the offer. There could be some delays for multiple reasons, and your recruitment partner will keep you updated.
3. Will I be informed at every step of the process whether I have cleared the rounds make it through or not?
You will receive an email from the recruitment partner regarding the feedback post each round regarding the next steps.
4. Can I apply for a different role if I am rejected for a particular role?
Candidates can apply anytime for a different role post-rejection.
5. Will my resume stay in your database and for how long?
The candidates’ resumes will be in our database for six months from the date of receiving the resume. Post which it will be removed from the Mercer | Mettl database permanently.
6. Once the waiting period is over can I reapply for the same role I was rejected for?
Candidates can reapply for a particular role/location after three months post-rejection.
7. Will interviews be conducted remotely or in an office?
The interview can be done either remotely or in person. The same will be determined by multiple factors, including your and the hiring manager’s location and ease of getting into the workplace, to name a few. Your HR partner will inform you well in advance about the process and if you are expected to come into the Mercer | Mettl office for an in-person interview.
2. Interview Stage
2. Will I interact with the Mercer | Mettl leadership during the interviews?
You will get to have a brief interaction with the Mercer | Mettl leaders during the interview process and during the final round.
3. What is the waiting period before I receive feedback on the interview round?
The waiting period is approximately 2-3 working days for sharing feedback with the candidates.
4. Can I request an additional interaction with one of the interviewers if I have further questions?
Per the candidate’s request, we can align additional interaction with the interviewers to clarify queries.
5. What is the process for withdrawing my candidature post the interviews?
Candidates need to email their respective recruitment partner, informing them about their candidature withdrawal.
6. Does the company provide a remote working facility?
We at Mercer | Mettl believe that each business/function can decide how best to motivate its employees and, at the same time, ensure high productivity. While, as an organization, we follow a hybrid work model, the final decision on the number of days at the workplace for employees is driven by the business/function head. It could require the employee to be at the office for five days in a working week.

2. How much flexibility do I have to change the compensation structure?
At Mercer | Mettl, we have components in the compensation structure that provide tax advantage per the Indian income tax laws. The employees do have a certain amount of flexibility in choosing these components.
3. How soon will the compensation offer for the role and an appointment letter be provided to me post my selection?
As the offer process has different stages, which include documentation, salary discussion and approval from Mercer | Mettl leader before an appointment letter can be shared with a potential employee, the HR operations team typically takes 1-2 working days post acceptance of the compensation offer to share the appointment letter with the candidate.
4. Typically, what would be included in my appointment letter?
The appointment letter will include candidates’ details such as full name (as per Aadhar card), candidate’s residential address (as per Aadhar card), the date of joining, work location’s full address, proposed compensation structure (both fixed/base CTC and annual variable including any bonus, if applicable), and HR benefits.
5. Can I change/update details in my appointment letter, like the date of joining etc., even after I have signed and sent a copy across, in case the same is required?
We can change the date of joining, as requested by the candidate. Also, changes in the compensation structure or any other change in personal information can be made.
6. Who will be my POC when I serve my notice period with my current organization?
Your recruitment partner will be in touch with you on a bi-weekly basis for any queries. Also, the respective recruiter will align your discussion with the future reporting manager/business to understand the organization during your notice period.
4. Post Selection Stage
2. Who will help me with these joining formalities? Or with any questions I may have?
The POC from the HR operations team will be in touch with you to help you complete the onboarding formalities. The HR operations POC will also align a discussion with the lead of HR operations to help resolve any queries.
3. Where can I learn more about the organization and my team during this waiting period?
The respective recruitment partner will align candidate discussion with the business to help understand the organization structure, team and the roles and responsibilities in a better way.
4. Will I have access to my manager and team during this waiting period?
The recruitment partner will align a discussion with the business and your manager as required. The recruitment partner will set up these sessions for you.
